Data Without Personal Reference
When visiting our website www.divedict.com, access data without personal reference is stored. These data are recorded between www.divedict.com and the user to log errors and to enable continuous improvements on our website. The analysis of access data without personal reference allows us to provide customer-oriented services and offerings. These analyses do not establish any personal reference.
Data With Personal Reference
Only in connection with the opening of a customer account or registration for our newsletter do we collect and process personal data such as name, address, date of birth, age, gender, email address, and phone number. Unless there is consent for further data processing, these are processed exclusively for the purposes necessary for contract fulfillment or answering your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). If necessary for fulfilling our contractual obligations, we may transfer data to external processors, such as: sharing your name or an encrypted transaction number with payment service providers like MPay24, Paypal, or financial service providers like Deutsche Bank or UniCredit.
Some of these processors, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), are located outside the European Union. When selecting these processors, we ensure they comply with the European data protection requirements. We only transfer your data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they offer an adequate level of data protection comparable to that of the EU.
Only if you give your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR will we use your data for other purposes such as sending newsletters, etc. The exact purpose of use is determined by the respective consent declaration. You can revoke your consent at any time, although we would like to note that even after this revocation, any data processing required for fulfilling contracts or legal obligations may still continue.
Data Retention
We will only retain your data as long as we reasonably deem necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned above and as permitted by applicable law. We will store your data as long as legal retention obligations apply or until the statute of limitations for potential legal claims expires.
Full subscriber data will be automatically deleted after the statutory retention period (7 years).
You can request the deletion of personal data by emailing info@divedict.com, provided there is no legal obligation to retain your data.

Social Media
Our posts on DiveDict.com contain links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or similar social platforms. We do not automatically forward any data to these companies. Only when a user actively clicks the link are they redirected and leave our website. Only the link to the post is passed as a reference.
